The little mommy

Getting her baby some lunch!

Charlie and her new baby doll, Sally! (I named it Ali and Charlie could not remember and said Sally. Sally it is!)

Christmas at Grandmama's and Papa's!

Susana's 2nd Birthday!

Here are a few pictures from Susana's birthday party! I did not take as many pictures this year as I thought. The girls had a good time together while we were in Columbia. Susana got lots of good stuff for her birthday. Two full days of presents...what could be better!! (I guess three days;)!)

Pictures of Christmas with Grandmama and Papa and Susana's 2nd birthday to come...

Christmas Day

Santa brought Charlie a kitchen, a new baby doll and a bike

On the way to see Gabby and Poppie (Charlie is reading the directions to my new camera!!)

I think Lake wanted me to pay him some attention or something...

Now Charlie's new baby doll has a place to sleep and be changed (Carson looks like he is having more fun than Charlie!)

Fischer trying to find where the pots and pans are. It is so fun to watch everyone pick them up!!

Aunt Mimi, Uncle Chad and Fischer gave Charlie a camera...she would go around and say "could you please smile for me!!" She is getting the hang of it now, but if you notice in the picture her figure is no where near the button. By the time she found the button the camera was pointed to the floor, so half of Charlie's pictures are the floor or her shoes (I will post some later!)

Fischer giving Poppie a kiss

Fischer was already in his pj's when Charlie took a bath, but she asked if he could get in with her...you can never be too clean!

We just got back in town yesterday and I have been trying to give all our new stuff a home!! I am slowly posting pictures, and I will have more later! We hope everyone had a GREAT Christmas.

The night before Christmas...

We all went over to Brad and Lindsay's for Christmas eve dinner. Charlie and Jacob got to open each others presents early...Charlie got lots of stuff including some dress up clothes (check out her new earrings!!) The kids played for a while and tired themselves out. When we got home, Charlie and I set out the cookies and milk for Santa. From the kitchen to the fireplace Charlie managed to drink the whole glass of milk and take a bite out of the cookies, but we managed to leave Santa a full glass of milk and non eaten cookies. It was a fun night and Charlie fell fast asleep and did not wake up until 8:45 Christmas morning ~ we will enjoy that while it last, because I think it will be the last year (Charlie is catching on to the whole Christmas thing!)

He was born Monday morning, but I waited so long to post to see if I could get a picture of him, but Mommy and Daddy have had A LOT of visitors, so I will wait a little while to meet him. There will be pictures then! I can't wait to see him.

The picture that did not make the cut!!

Every year I spend lots of money on Charlie's Christmas outfit(s). My thought process is to take a cute picture to put in the Christmas cards. As most of you know by now it is almost impossible to get her to pose. This was the original picture for the card, but I ended up not loving the picture, so at the eleventh hour I made a switch! I still thought it was worthy enough to post. (My little baby looks so grown up!)

Charlie's gloves!

Carson and I decided to make a fire the other day when it was really cold. Little did we know that Charlie would be mesmerized by the fire. Unfortunately we only had a few pieces of firewood so Carson ran out to get more. When he got home Charlie wanted to go outside and help him unload the truck. It was REALLY cold but I told her if she put on her hat, a coat (or two), and gloves she could. I was looking everywhere for her gloves, when I heard yell from the kitchen "I found them mommy!" She ran up to me and showed me that she not only found them but she put them on all by herself. She was so proud and wanted to go help Carson so bad I let her wear them...scroll down...I figured they would keep the heat in for a little while!!!!

Decorating the tree!

Charlie likes to look at herself in all the glass ornaments!

Here she is waving to herself

She didn't so much decorate, it was more like undecorated.

Picking out a tree

We got our Christmas tree this weekend and Charlie "helped" us pick it out. As usual she was all over the place and I took pictures for about 30 seconds. It was kind of a rushed decision. Charlie had no interest in the tree, just running behind and in between them! I am pretty sure we have become that family that everyone looks at and thinks, Wow they have zero control over that child! Anyway, we got a tree and I put lights on it last night, (my least favorite thing in the world) and I hope to put my ornaments on it today. That should not take long I think my collection has grown to about 30 ornaments this year! Maybe that will keep Charlie still enough for me to get a good picture of her.

On a side note...with no encouragement from me Charlie keeps asking Carson if she likes the Gamecocks, he tells her NO every time and she always responds "you do, daddy you do like it!!!" Early signs of a Gamecock, mmmm I'm thinkin' yeah:)
