Charlestowne Landing

Here are the pictures from Charlie's last field trip. I posted them faster than I thought I would. Anyway, we went to Charlestowne Landing. We have been there several times, but Charlie has never been to the "zoo" part. I have and did not like it that much (the animals have very small living spaces, which I am not a big fan of.) However, Charlie and the rest of the kids enjoyed it very much. Again it was something new for Charlie (the next two field trips are also places we have never been...I though I had done it all up to this point). Camden had a good time too and loved to walk around with the big kids. I had to use some Cheerios's to keep her sitting from time to time. I am almost caught up with all my postings and like I said before I hope to keep on top of it! Check back next week for some new pics.

Playing catch up...

I know that it has been a really long time since I have blogged. There are a lot of events and pictures to catch up on over the past two months. Things around here have been great. Charlie started a new school in February and LOVES it, as do we. It is so nice for her to enjoy going to school and this is just what we wanted for her. We were hoping not to have to pay tuition, but it is worth the price! She has gone on two field trips since she has started (only one is posted, I am getting to the other one soon) and will have two more. It is a small school, but we look forward to her next year there followed by the elementary school, and Camden too. She found a new love while there...monkey bars. She never touched them at home until she did them at school. She is on them every second she gets, and she is good. Our little monkey. She is getting so big and is always such a help with Camden. They are starting to play together more and more, and of course Camden tries to keep up with her all the time. Camden has grown a lot over the past two months. She tries to imitate everything and sound that she sees and hears. She still loves to dance and knows how to turn the radio on. She understands anything you tell her and she is starting to "talk" a little more, but it is still mostly understandable only to us. I think once she starts really talking she will be talking in full sentences. She is so fun to watch and so happy all the time. I can't believe how big they are both getting. They are both really great kids!!! (I am having a hard time thinking about leaving them for a whole week...to date, Charlie~ 3 night, Camden ~1 night. How am I going to survive 6 nights in another country??????) Anyway, I have a few more weeks worth of pictures I am working on, so check back in a few weeks and I hope to be all caught up and hope to stay that way. Enjoy!

Camden eats cereal with milk and a spoon (with a little help with her hand)...what a big girl

What happens when I look away for to long.

Camden is fast, that is all I have to say. I turned my head for a minute and she is naked on the table with my cell phone.

Day at the beach!

I decided to take and impromptu trip to the beach after school one day. It was a lot of fun except for the fact that I was not prepared at all. I had no diapers, no wipes, no towels, or no change of clothes. The girls did not seem to mind the ride home (which explains the no clothes!). Anyway, the girls always make each other laugh and play with each other in the car and I happened to have the camera and took this picture in the mirror. They just look so cute (I could not get Charlie in the frame, but you can tell how happy Camden is). Back to the beach...this was Camden's first trip to the beach since she learned how to walk and she loved it. She liked to lay down in the sand a lot. I am looking forward to many fun afternoons at the beach with them! I left the camera in the car:(

Fun in the backyard

Most of my pictures are of the same thing...the girls in the backyard. We love spring!!

Charlie's first feild trip

Charlie started her new school around Valentine's Day. They took a field trip a few weeks later to the Charleston Museum (one place we have actually NOT been to!). Anyway, it was Charlie's first field trip and she (and Camden) had a great time. She had possession of the camera for most of the day and here are a few of the shots she took (I took one or two and the rest are hers!)

Charlie has mastered the monkey bars over the past month and a half and is on them every chance she gets. Camden loves to be outside too. Now that the weather is getting better we are outside all the time. Camden can climb up the play set and slide down the slide all by herself now and likes to come down the slide face first. We have been lovin' the weather and being outdoors!!
