Feeding the ducks behind our house

Charlie is pointing out that the ducks are right there (just in case I did not see them!!)

Charlie giving up on feeding those ducks and figuring someone better eat the bread...it might as well be her!

Moving on to the ducks in the pond. She actually threw it hard enough a few times to make it all the way down there.

Feed the ducks, feed herself

She is getting a little frustrated because the ducks swam away.

back to feeding herself , again!!

Look at my little grown up valley girl!! She is either standing like that or with her hands on her hips. 3 going on 3-0!

She sees more ducks (but they see her too and run away)

She is ready to go look for more she said.

Fun in the Sun!

Well it is officially that time of year where we are always near water. More so now that I am rapidly growing and my body temperature has gone trough the roof. I am looking forward to the end of the summer where people are mistaking me for a beached whale. Anyway, we have been pretty house bound for the past couple of weeks due to potty training...and so far I have made zero progress. I have decided today I am taking a different approach, but I am not holding my breath!!! Keep your figures crossed .
Everything is going well with the baby. I went to the doctor on Monday and everything looked good. She felt my belly and told me that I was growing (as if I couldn't have stood up for her to SEE that!)...I told her I was pretty well aware of that. This was a simple appointment, the next one is the big Ultra sound, so I am excited to see the baby again. I have gotten several request for a "belly picture" so I hope to get one posted for you all by the end of the week. Although, it is not very exciting, Charlie is much cuter to look at these days, so I will stick to this being her blog page for now.

This was our first trip to the Water Park this year...

we will be there a lot!!!

Charlie's friends Saylor and North

A little snack

Laura and Charlotte invited us to their neighborhood pool...
Charlie's first experience with "swimmies" ~ She could not figure out how to keep her feet on the ground

She is starting to get the hang of it

Still a little uncertain about these things keeping her afloat...so cautious (except when it comes to jumping off my kitchen counters)

Still stickin' with the kiddie pool!

I think next time she will try to go a little deeper.

Playing at the beach with Saylor. I thought I took more pictures that day. I am just thankful that she stays in one general place now.

OK here are a few pictures I promised. All of the beach, pool and water park pictures are on my little camera, which I have not gotten around to downloading yet.
Things are going well here and there is not much news to report on. Still working on the house, but we are almost at a stopping point (until next year that is.) The pregnancy is going great, I feel really good right now. I go to the doctor on Tuesday and I will keep everyone updated on that.
Charlie has refused to potty train, but as most of you know she will be starting school in August and has to be. It is getting a little stressful for me. All of my friends say not to push it, but she will be 3 in a few weeks and school starts in a couple of months, so I have to push it. The only thing holding us back is her actually sitting on the potty. Nobody has ever had the problem I am having so there has been a lack of advice. She says she is scared to sit on the potty, which a lot of kids are, but when I tried to ask her what scares her she always says "you mommy...your face is kind of scary!" So, if anybody knows how to fix my problem please let me know!! ( In my defence I am not the only one she has told has a scary face...scary is new favorite adjective!!) For the next few days that is what Charlie and I will be doing!!
Anyway, I hope to get a few more pictures up soon. Hope eveyone is doing well!!

I got a new camera lens for my birthday and I have been messing around with it to figure out what all it can do. These are just a few pictures I took one morning at breakfast and thought I would post them!!

Playing in the rain!

We have finally been getting the rain we have needed and instead of being cooped up in the house we play in it (as long as there is no thunder and lighting of course!)

She thought her shorts might get wet, so she took them off!!!

My sweet little ladybug!

All dry and warm.

We have been very busy lately. Carson is finishing the floors and I have been working on finishing Charlie's bedroom, and when we're not working on the house we have been at the beach or at the Water Park...I have lots of pictures that I need to download. Today is my catch up day and I promise by tomorrow there will be some new pictures.
