Home sweet home!
As most of you know, we went to Disney World last week. We has a great time, but we are VERY tired. We were lucky enough to travel with Aunt Mimi, Uncle Chad and Fischer. The kids had a great time together and the adults got to ride all the rides! We went to 3 out of 4 parks and even though we did a lot, I am sure we did not even do half. Charlie got to meet all the characters and she said Mickey was her favorite (although she seemed to like Mini the best). Dumbo was her favorite ride. I had to stand in line several times for that one. We stayed up late one night to see the fireworks at Epcot and Charlie was absolutely terrified. She loves fireworks from afar, but if she can hear the "boom" it scares her. I kind of knew that, but I thought I would give it a try anyway (mean mommy!). I had to stand inside a restaurant with her head buried in my shoulder until it was over. We watched the Magic Kingdom fireworks from Epcot, the bus and our cabin and she liked that a lot. With all the money we spent and the time we were there and all the stuff we did and saw, I am pretty convinced her FAVORITE part was riding the bus. ~ We have a lot of pictures, but we did not talk half as many as I thought we would. It was a little hard to keep up with everybody and not get run over by other people while taking them, so we took important ones and had fun the rest of the time. ~ I was very impressed with Charlie, she had no nap, stayed up at least an hour (if not more) past her bedtime, and woke up about 2 hours early and she had only a couple very small meltdowns. Although she was very tired...as you can see in one of the pictures below, it caught up to her. She was also the best kid in the car. I brought the DVD for backup, but I forgot the cord and she never once got cranky on the ride there or back, AMAZING seeing as she is usually cranky to Columbia and back. Mommy and Daddy on the other hand were not as calm. It was a LONG seven hours in our opinion and we vowed we would never drive again (losing our luggage off the top of our car in the worst five lane traffic EVER probably did not help the situation...don't worry we only lost about $50 worth of stuff, but if one more car hit it I am pretty sure our belongings would be scattered all over I-4!) I hope you all enjoy viewing these pictures because it took me about 14 hours to upload them to this page!! Enjoy...Magic Kingdom day 4
So many things in this picture will never happen again...Charlie rides in a stroller & Charlie falls asleep when not in a bed!!!!

Uncle Chad thought this looked like the house that fell on the witch in Wizard of OZ!

Carson got tired too.

All of us in our 3-D glasses going into Philarmagic (the coolest 3-D show ever...you must see it if you go to Disney).
Ok, so I thought I had this set up to be on the blog page in order, but it is backwards. I don't think it really matters, but I just want all of you to know that it has taken me a full day and a half to put all of this on here, with that said...
This was the last day we spent in Magic Kingdom. We thought we were going to go back the next day (which was our last), but we were too tired (we also have NO pictures from the last day we were there). We let Charlie and Fischer run through the sprinklers at Winnie the Pooh's playground and I think it was the most fun they had. Charlie also fell asleep as soon as we put her in the stroller. We tried to do stuff we did not get to do on Sunday and of course we rode Dumbo a few more times. It was a great trip, but most of all it was more of a learning experience for us. We can't wait to go back next year!!!
Character Breakfast
Even the waffles were shaped like Mickey Mouse!! Charlie would only eat the ears and then get another one.
Pluto was CRAZY (and not in a good way)...Charlie is actually screaming for him to get off of her...bet you did not even know she was in the picture (see her arm) Bad Dog!!!
See, Crazy Pluto! I am just glad I did not end up with syrup in my lap.
Animal Kingdom Day 3

I'm telling you this was Charlie's favorite part. We could have just put her on the city bus and told her it was Disney World, it would have been a lot cheaper.

Mt. Everest. You can't tell but it is a very BIG, very fast and very fun roller coaster. We all went twice.
All Charlie wanted to do was see Rhafiki, so I was delighted to see he was signing autographs the second day we were there. Of course she would not touch him.
The Safari...a little disappointing, but worth going.
This was one of the "floats" during the Parade at Animal Kingdom. There were more pictures, but I accidentally deleted them and it is a pain to try and go back!
Charlie is tickling him even though it looks like she is pinching him. And if I remember correctly he was laughing even though it looks like he is crying, although her tickle is not very ticklish!!!
