My posting marathon...

I just posted a month and a half of pictures and it was not easy. I tried to post backwards so you would see it in order, which made it even more difficult. There is not a ton of explanation on the pics, but you will get the point. December was a big and hectic month for us. Camden started walking about a month ago (it seems like longer already) and she loves it. I do too. With Charlie it was almost harder, but with Camden it has given us more freedom to go places. She has gotten so big over the past month and has defiantly started to make the transition from baby to toddler. She is generally happy when she has what she wants which is usually food. She is in the stage where she really wants to talk but the words are not quite there yet. Although, she is good about giving you clues.
Charlie is growing like a weed! She is my little helper. She watches Camden better than I do most of the time and it is great. She loves that baby so much. Sometimes (most of the time) Camden gets annoyed by how much Charlie hugs her (only because it slows her down.) Charlie's new thing is getting into Camden's crib in the morning when she wakes up and the two of them just laugh, and I just stand at the door and secretly watch and listen. I am determined to sneak some video soon. Anyway, Charlie is at home full time again. The school she was in just was not working for her. I figured I would keep her home until August. I was a little nervous about having both the girls home full time, but I really love it. There are some days where nothing gets done, but at least I get to spend almost every waking hour watching them grow. I do get out of the house doing photo shoots. That has really been going well for me and I hope to make it grow into a full time business when the girls are in school. I also got a small part time job. I did not think I wanted it, but I actually really like going to work. It gets me out of the house and away from mommy hood a couple of nights. Carson is good too. He has been working hard to keep all his girls happy. Camden can say "dada" but for some reason she always calls him "mama." She can hear the garage door open when he comes home and she gets so excited calling mama, mama...it is pretty funny. She is def going to be a Daddy's girl. He is so good to them, they both will before long.
Anyway, that is a brief summery of the past month. I hope to keep up with the blog a little better. I added Picassa back to my computer because it takes half a second to upload pictures, but you can only do 4 at a time. Check back soon for new updates! Hope everyone is having a great start to 2009.

I made the mistake of leaving Camden in the kitchen by herself. Most other rooms are pretty safe now a days, but not the kitchen!!!

I always thought Charlie was a handful...I was wrong. Camden is not bad, but boy she likes to get into things that I wish she would not (such as the dishwasher.) I can not turn my head for a second with her.

Christmas cards

Every body knows how big of a pain Christmas card pictures are to get... It's the one time a year you get to really show your kids off, so you want the one great picture. (Although with the computer world all your friends and family see your kids picture about 100 times a month, so I don't really get why we stress out about Christmas card pics, but we all do!!) Anyway, I got my cards last year the day after Christmas because they were 70% off the retail price. I have had a vision of what I wanted my picture to look like. My kids, on the other hand had a different vision! I started early this year, because I know it never works out how you plan it too. This was the first day I attempted it. The girls are cute, but I just did not get it! You can see my MANY attempts as you scroll down to see other posts. Of course the picture I used is one that I took when Carson came home for lunch and had the girls sitting on the kitchen counter and he was making them laugh. I, of course, grabbed the Santa hats and threw them on their heads and took a picture. After awhile you just learn to give up!

Charlie decided she did not want to wear the Santa hat anymore, but she did agree to wear a hat.

Camden's hair has gotten progressively curlier and more wild every day. This is what she looks like most mornings when she wakes up. Pretty soon she will be able to take flight!

Charlie was pretty over it at this point was still trying hard to cooperate. Camden just wanted to eat Cheerios (Charlie is holding them up in the one picture!!)
