Camden sits up very well now and has probably been ready for the big bath for awhile (I have put it off to save the back a little). Anyway, she has taken one here and there, but last night was the official kick off to the big bath. Of course Charlie was all excited and wanted to take a bath with her. They both had lots of fun and I only let Camden's face go under water one time...she was fine after a little coughing (you forget you have to hold them up a little!!!)

Camden in the big bath!

Does this make us rednecks?
So, we promised Charlie a little pool for the backyard. She and Carson went to K-Mart and we were going to set it up for her, but a big rain cloud loomed overhead. She was so upset when we told her she could not get in, so to keep our promise we set it up in the garage. She had so much fun. We set the beach chairs up and all. (The Cars chair in the pool only adds to the redneck part of it!!!)
Camden's first trip on the boat
We went out to Morris Island for the first time this season and had a great time. This was Camden's first ride on the boat and she did not really like it. She had a blast on the beach with all her "older" friends. We hope to go back soon, but it is a much bigger outing than it use to be. We were packing and unpacking gear and kids longer than we were on the beach!!!

Happy Father's Day!
Wishing all the dads out there a happy father's day. I am so thankful that Charlie and Camden have such a loving and hands on daddy that will always be there for them. Thanks for all you do for your girls (all of us). Who would have thought that one guy would be so great with two little girls.
Here are some pics...
OK so I have been very busy lately. Most of you know that I have started my own (mini) business. My website is up and running and I have generated clients. Charlie is done with school and I have both girls home full time now, and I love it. Camden has had a lot of first over the past couple of weeks...first beach trip, first boat ride and Charlie went fishing with just her Daddy for the first time (pictures to come). Everybody is great and it is hard to believe that Charlie will be 4 in less than a month. I will try to keep up with pictures, but hopefully this will hold everybody over for a while.

Having tea with Cinderella
I bought this dress a year ago with the intentions of photographing Charlie in it. She loves this dress and calls it her wedding dress (scary, I know!) Anyway, before it got too small we went to Charlestowne Landing and did a mini photo shoot. Some of the pics are on my website, but here are a few others.
Yes, Charlie still had a paci up until two weeks ago. I had a reason each month for the past two years for letting her keep it, but decided when school was over it had to go. We did the whole paci fairy thing and it went better than I had expected...she got a little teary eyed, but moved on quickly. A few minutes later she asked if we could go to the store and buy some new ones!! The first night it was a little hard to fall asleep (after all in her little life she has never had to without it)!
It was like watching a child go through detox. I was reading her books and she grabbed her baby doll and said "Mom, I HAVE to suck on something" and like a crazy girl started sucking on her baby dolls head (it was hysterical at the time). Anyway, each day has gotten a little easier and soon it will be a forgotten memory. I am so glad that thing is gone, but in a way it kind of signified the end of her baby/toddler era!

Charlie's last day of school
It is hard to believe that Charlie's first year of school is over. How she has grown over the past ten months. That is her teacher Miss Jennifer in the first picture and some of the kids helping her open her class gift. Mrs. Priscilla is Jen's assistant and I'll admit that in the beginning I was not so sure about her, but she and Charlie had a very special bond and we LOVE her!!!! We went all year with no phone call home from the school until the last day. One of the boys in school headbutted her and gave her a big fat lip and of course she had to show it off. Since Charlie is in Montessori school she will have the same teacher for the next couple of years which we are very happy about! Happy Summer!!
