What a bad month in my house. The girls have been sick for what seems like a month now. Charlie had an ear and sinus infection which landed us in the emergency room several weeks ago (????????) I was a little mad they sent us to the ER, but I had to go once they told me too. Anyway, Camden got a sinus infection right after that. They both had a z-pack that cleared them up for about a week. Then they got sick again. Charlie seems better, but Camden is going back to the doctor tomorrow. The cold last week did not help either. I am just glad we can go outside this week. I have never been so stir crazy in my life!!! We have managed to have a little fun in between, but not too many pictures over the past couple of months!
Lindsay gave Charlie these skates for Christmas (we did x-mas very late!) For the first week that Charlie had them she wanted them on all the time. We had just gotten home from dance class and she put them on right away. I tried to get her to "shoot the duck," she got close enough (I decided I did not want her to break her neck!) Between the dog and the skates, my floors are pretty unhappy, but it makes me smile!
Camden favorite toy
Camden got this for Christmas and loves it. She has played with them before, so we thought she should have one of her own. I took it to the doctor last week and she was very impressed at her fine motor skills (Cam's been doing this thing for at least 6 months!) When the doctor told me that, it made me think that a lot of parents must not spend time with their kids...can't all 15 month olds do this?
Charlie is old enough now where she can have friends come over by themselves and she can go to their houses too (it is very nice!) Griffin came over a couple of weekends ago and she went to his house last weekend. She still says she is going to marry Griffin one day! I am not sure about that, but they sure do have a special bond, more so then any of her other friends.
We frequent the aquarium a lot, but this was the first time we have been since Camden has been walking. I thought it would be a little easier, but they were still all over the place (different places.) Anyway, Charlie is getting so big, she is sitting at a computer that tells you all about the fish in the first tank and she was actually doing it...correctly. The picture of the fish is the one she was "researching." I am amazed how big my girls are. Camden had fun "reading" upstairs. She has not been into reading as much as Charlie was, but she has started to gain a little interest. She likes holding the books more than listening to them, but it is a start!! And of course, I like to look at the view while we are there. There is no better city in the world, how could you ever be in a bad mood in this city (well maybe when the high is 37!)
My little eater
Camden still loves her food. Unfortunately she is becoming pickier, but still wants to eat all the time. It is hard to find healthy snacks 24/7. She made sure she got every last drop this time!
