She's here...
Camden made her GRAND entrance into the world early this morning. After a day of steady contractions I made my way to the hospital feeling pretty confident they would keep me there, especially after learning yesterday at my doctor's appt that I was already 3 centimeters. I was thinking I would check in and get my epidural pretty quickly considering I had mine at 3 cent with Charlie. At 10:30ish (what ever time is on the clock) they decided to keep me. The nurse said I could have an epidural whenever the doctor came in to see me. About 30 min later she came and checked me again and decided to break my water and they were sending the anesthesiologist my way. A small amount of time went by and my contractions got stronger and stronger and I thinking "where is my epidural? so much for my pain free labor." Next thing I know I felt the urge to push. Carson ran and got the nurse and she comes in and tells me I am 9 centimeters, amidst All my pain I still think "Oh good 9 cent, I can still get my epidural!" 5 minutes later she arrived!!! All natural was not my plan, but it went fast and all went well. So far she has done nothing bu slept, and Carson and I have done nothing but stare at her. Charlie will be back tomorrow to meet her little sister and we can't wait...
We will keep everyone posted

Ready and waiting...
Here are pictures of the nursery which is FINALLY finished!! It took a lot more time to paint than I thought, but it was all worth it...I love it. It needs a few more accessories (and possibly some more art on the walls) and I am waiting on the cushion for the back of the glider, but other than that it is ready for a baby. I will say I think it looks better in person which usually hold true. It is a little hard to tell the colors of the fabric and furniture and to see the stripes on the wall.
Hopefully my next post will have a baby on it!!!!
PS Charlie's contribution is the cowboy hat on the horse!!

The Coastal Carolina Fair was in town last week and we decided to take Charlie. It was only here for one week and since she is in school I figured Saturday would be the best day, it also happened to be the last day. I was all excited about stuffing my face guilty free one more time before the baby came. Vision of Elephant Ears and Vinegar French Fries danced through my head all week. We made sure not to eat too much food that day and we told Charlie after her nap that we were going to the fair (that it was kind of like Disney World!) She woke up and we put on our sweaters and headed out the door. I had planned on staying for a few hours and leaving as it got dark. Little did we know how bad the traffic would be. What should have been a 30 minute trip turned into a two hour stand still. I am use to the State Fair where apparently they have their act a little more together. After two hours Carson and I could not take it anymore. As much as I wanted to go to the fair it was not worth it. Charlie wanted to go so bad and we had promised her junk food and rides. So, I racked my brain t0 think of a place she had never been before that would seem like fun and have what we described...I came up with the mall in North Charleston. They have rides and junk food. She had a BLAST. I am not sure if she really thought she was at the fair or just liked all the new things, but either way we avoided what could have been a long and terrible night of crying to go to the fair. We ate french fries, icees and cookies and rode all the little rides they had there. They had a "play yard" that she loved and by the end of it all we spent $30 on nothing, but it was worth it (my friend spend $150 at the fair, so it was a huge savings I guess!!) Anyway, I had my camera so I figured I would take a few pictures to document it. Carson and I pretty much laughed all night about it...what you do for your kids. Next year we will remember not to go the last day, or just drive to Cola for the "nice" fair!!!!

Hi All,
We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new little one. We loved all our visitors with Charlie, but I am going to try to "control" this one a little more due to Charlie's schedule. I am going to have a "meet and greet" a week or so after she is born. If you can't make it on this day and you want to visit us, of course we will welcome visitor's anytime. I sent out an email, but apparently I can only send out so many at a time, so I am not really sure who got it. I will probably send out something in the announcement or send another email. This all depends, of course on how close she comes to Thanksgiving and if I survive two children for more that a week!!!!
We hope to see everyone soon. Wish me luck.
XOXO

I am currently charging the camera battery to download pictures from the past couple of days. I had a little set back today... Charlie hurt her arm last night. It had no swelling or bruising, so we just assumed it would fade. She did complain throughout trick or treating, but not too much. I gave her Tylenol before bed and hoped that it would go away over night. Unfortunately (for me) she woke up around 2 and did not fall back asleep until 6...she could not move her arm at all. I was not convinced that it was broken, (or maybe I was hoping because that would be the worst timing ever), I figured it might have been really sprained, but either way I was looking at several nights of pain and little sleep. Fortunately for us, she had a tendon pop out of place and all they had to do was pop it back. They said it is very painful, and usually VERY painful to pop it back into place, but Charlie did not flinch or cry. And like the doctor said, she instantly felt better. She was a little hesitant about moving it at first, but as soon as she did the pain was gone. I have been telling people all day that the Gods are smiling on me, because never do you go to the doctor and your pain is instantly gone. At least now we can catch up on some sleep before the baby gets here.
