Camden is trying really hard to sit up on her own. She can do it for about 20 seconds or so before falling over. Anyway I had her on Charlie's bed the other day and Charlie got up there with her. I asked Charlie if I could take her picture and she said yes. I had taken a few pictures and realized she had paint on her face, so I wiped it off and by that time Camden was slowly falling over. Oh well, they sure are cute, even thought they are dirty most of the time!!!

Look Mom...No Hands
I am reasy to eat!!!
These are a week or so old. She looks so big in her high chair. I bough a new space saver high chair and it is so much nicer than the other ones that take up the whole kitchen. I have not given her cereal in over a week now, but we go back to the doctor in two weeks and I am sure I will be told to start again and then its on the to the real stuff. I just can't believe she is big enough for real food!!! No teeth yet (Charlie had 4 by this point!!)

These pictures of Camden eating are a little later than promised. She has been sporadically eating cereal now. It did not help her sleep any so I have slacked off. She seem less and less interested in it as the days went on. I hope I do not have another Charlie on my hands when it comes to baby food.
We had a great but busy weekend. We went to Columbia to visit family and I went to an old friend's baby shower. I did not take my camera (I am lucky to remember to pack both my children at this point) but my sister has some cute ones of the girls that I will post when she emails them to me. And for those of you who know Elisa, she looks great and has that pregnancy glow and great smile (as always.) For some pics check out Will's page. Thanks to all for a great weekend.
Now if you will excuse me, I am off to bed for some much needed ZZZZ's ~ Camden was up a lot last night~ with a cold I think:(!!!

Camden is 5 months old...can you believe that??? She is getting so big! I started her on rice cereal a few days ago and I will post pics tomorrow, although she is a pretty efficient and neat eater! I am sure that will change when the peas and sweet potatoes are introduced in a month or so. I was not going to feed her food until 6 months, but I figured I would see if it helped with sleeping. I am not sure if it helped, but she likes it so I am sticking to it. She now takes a bottle, so I know that I can leave her for a little while and not worry about her. Her sleep habits have been interesting. She was sleeping through the night for about a month and a half in the crib, and now she wakes up anywhere from one to three times during the night. Sometimes she goes down after she eats and sometimes not. And did I mention she sleeps in the car seat. I have heard of that before, but it is weird to me that she was a great sleeper and went backwards. With Charlie it was rough in the beginning and got better, so I am a little confused. Thank goodness this in my 2nd, because I don't know if I would have had another one. Luckily my body does not need much sleep anymore, and I am secretly happy that I get to cuddle with her in the dark (I was a little sad when she started sleeping through the night so early...3am with a baby is so sweet!!!) Other than the weird sleeping arrangement, she is the happiest baby ever and LOVES her big sister, and her sister loves her. Watching the two of them together is the greatest thing. They are going to be grown before I know it. I am trying to soak up every minute with them. It goes by so fast. 5 months... WOW

Playing Catchup...
OK I finally cleaned my computer out enough to download all the pictures that were in my camera. So now I am trying to catch up on my blogging!! We had a busy couple of weeks. Charlie had spring break and it was PACKED with excitement. My days of Key West and drinks on the beach are long gone. Spring Break has a whole new meaning now. We got to meet our newest family member over the break and I will get pics from that soon as well as more of Camden (I have a lot of her too!!) Enjoy!

The Easter Bunny...
The Baskets with a the letter that we had to write to the Easter Bunny! Even though I suggested carrots, Charlie insisted that the Easter Bunny liked squeezable yogurt (one for her and one for Camden) and chocolate milk, so that is what he/she got!!
Since Charlie was such a good big sister the Easter Bunny brought her a big gift this year. It is a little big for her, but I am sure she will be a pro on it by the summer. I tried to take a pic of what the Baskets looked liked filled, but I was the last to get out of bed and Charlie successfully pulled everything out of her and Camden's basket in a matter of seconds. I have a pretty good idea of what they might have looked like though!!!
Easter Sunday

We spent Easter Sunday at Becky's house. A few friends came over and we had an Easter Egg hunt for the kids and a great lunch. The Hunt was a big hit with all the kids. Charlie decided at one point that the basket was slowing her down, so she set it down in the middle of the yard and ran back and forth to it. I learned that it is never a good idea to leave a 3 year old unattended with a basket full of candy, because it won't be there for long!!! Camden also enjoyed her first Easter. She was passed around between everybody, so she was happy (she loves to be held!!) It was a beautiful day and a great was to spend Easter.
Bumbo time...
Camden has enjoyed her new Bumbo. These were not around when Charlie was little, so it is something (the only thing) that is really JUST Camden's!!! I know I am breaking all the rules by having her on the counter, but at the time she was safe. I will say I don't keep her there now, because she moves around too much (that happened so fast!!)
Side Note...can you say YIKES. I do admit that my house is very messy at the time. I am having a hard time finding time to do the dusting and moping etc. But how do the bottom of socks of a kid that can't walk get that dirty?? We do like to stand her up a lot, but I think it is time to do some DEEP spring cleaning!!!
