More sunrise pics

Again, I am posting backwards!! Not to outdo my Father in law and his many sun set pictures at the lake, but the sunrises were so beautiful I though I would share a few more looks at it!

The sun rising

Camden and I watched several sun rises while we were at the beach. Charlie told me she wanted to see it too, so on the last day we sat on the porch to watch it. I am not so much a morning person (really I just don't like to get out of bed!) but when you have two beautiful girls, a great hubby and a spectacular sun rise at the beach to wake up to, it's not so hard!!

The Morrow's

Side note to Meredith...I have not even begun to edit or even look through the pics. Not even sure if these are any of the good ones, but I thought I would post your lovely family on my blog!!!!

Scuba Charlie

So, once she learned she took the swimming thing to the extreme (I am posting backwards, as always, so you will see the first post soon!)

Camden's pool debut

Camden loved the pool, but not the beach for some reason. This was her first day out along with her newest cousin Harris. Fischer gave her lots of lovin' the whole week.

Charlie officially learned to swim by herself!!!

Charlie has been really eager this summer to learn to swim on her own. She has been very close and I knew if we had access to a pool everyday she could do it. Well, while we were at the beach she learned to swim. It was on the first day that we were there and by the end of the week she was swimming in the deep end, going under water and jumping in from the side of the pool all by herself.

Camden's on the move...

Camden is in the early stages of crawling. She can get from point A to point B but sometimes it is not so graceful. She is so proud of herself when she does it to (she usually shows you the object she was aiming for and then claps for herself ~ along with us that is!!) Anyway, if I have not mentioned she got her first two teeth in around the 4th of July. You can see them pretty good in that bottom picture. She is still the happiest baby and she keeps all of us entertained...and now she keeps us all on our toes!!!!

Fun at the pool

Camden's 6 month picture

We had some family portraits taken a few months ago along with Camden's 6 month picture. I forgot to post it, so I though I would share her cute little pic. I just put the CD in for the first time and all the pictures from the entire photo session are on there. Usually Portrait Innovations only puts the ones you buy on it. Lucky me, unfortunately they are all in the original unedited form. I would have posted more pics from the session except I have to crop them all. the ones with Charlie in them are pretty funny because she looks like someone is making her do the most horrible things imaginable!!! I will try to get that one edited and post at a later date!!!

What a week

I am playing catch up in the blogging world (and the real world for that matter.) I am trying to catch up on all Charlie's birthday activities. She thinks she had two birthdays (when it was my birthday she kept asking when my other birthday was...I was not sure what she was talking about and then we figured out she meant a party. In the mind of a 4 year old your birthday has not really happened until you have a party!) Anyway, here are pictures from her actual birthday. We went to the lake and celebrated with Gabby, Poppie, Grandma, Papa, Aunt Phoebe and Susana. Charlie got lots of great presents this year and I am still trying to find a home for everything. I will post pictures of Charlie's birthday party tomorrow and some Camden updates too (can you believe she was 8 months yesterday??? Where does time go ~ she has some big happenings going on too!) Hope everyone is well!

Finally, presents!!

In true 4 year old fashion, Charlie opened her presents as soon as everybody had enough time to walk in the door and sit down. I figured it was her day, so we did not have to do cake first.

A pink dress up outfit (that plays music from the Nutcracker!)

A new tea set!

Waiting patiently (and looking mighty cute) for something!

Camden getting a little present action

Utilizing all her gifts at once!

The princesses have lunch! What beautiful girls.

It's cake time!

My sweet little birthday girl! She refused to blow out the candles!

She played with the cake more than she ate it...she does not really like cake (I don't think she is my child after all!)

She looks like a teenager to me in this picture. 4 going on 14~
